“Mindshift Achievers” authors earn top spot on Amazon’s bestseller list

A personal drive to put a good plan into action can change the world. This is a creed Mississippi Gulf Coast resident Ashley Prima lives by and the foundation upon which she has launched a successful career in writing and just about anything else she sets her sights on.
Ashley, who resides in Gulfport, is a published author in five anthologies, with her sixth book just newly released this year. On Friday, August 12, 2022, the international best-selling author joined a cohort of talented writers to celebrate the release of her beloved “Mindshift Achievers” book anthology. From 6-8 p.m., the public was invited to visit Gulf Coast Training & Education Services, located at 1015 Howard Avenue, Suite C, Biloxi. There, co-authors, including Ashley herself, were available to meet and mingle with guests and sign copies of the “Mindshift Achievers” book that claimed a top spot in its category on the international bestsellers list at Amazon just days after its release on January 1, 2022.
“As visionary author for ‘Mindshift Achievers,’ my vision was to turn my anthology not only into a book of collective stories but also to start a movement; one that God will use to shift the minds of others from negative to positive just by reading the stories of the co-authors in the book,” Ashley said.
Ashley’s vision for “Mindshift Achievers” is to build a brand of helping people shift their minds from negative to positive thinking to achieve success in mind shifting, which in turn, creates them to be Mindshift Achievers.

Ashley Prima, formerly Ashley Robertson, promotes her first anthology as visionary author of “Mindshift Achievers” at the Level Up Summit inside the Gruich Community Center in Biloxi shortly after the book’s release on January 1, 2022.

The idea was born when Ashley became a co-author in her first book, titled “Finally Free.” At that time, Ashley was taken under the wing of the book’s visionary author, Dawn Lieck, who helped inspire Ashley to become a visionary author herself. Lieck, a 20x best-selling author and visionary who resides in Gulfport, is featured among Ashley’s line-up of “Mindshift Achievers” authors, penning her chapter, titled “I Can and I Will.”
Tiffany D. Bell, a world class professional and community servant, also of Gulfport, joins Lieck as a featured author in “Mindshift Achievers” with her chapter, titled “Conflict is Needed. No One Likes It Though.”
Bell said she enjoyed participating in the “Mindshift Achievers” book project.
“Ashley was great at communicating throughout the project,” said Bell. “She provided a smooth and easy process. The follow-up after the book was launched was also great as well. She did an excellent job of creating opportunities to promote the book outside of my platforms, which led to additional collaborations.”

Ashley Prima congratulates Liz Hoop and Sheila Farr on their success as co-authors of her “Mindshift Achievers” book anthology. The group celebrates its success during a book signing held August 12, 2022, inside Farr’s Gulf Coast Training & Education Services, located at 1015 Howard Avenue, Suite C, in Biloxi.

As visionary author, Ashley’s chapter is titled, “Becoming a Mindshift Achiever.”
Ashley said, “If one person can shift their mindset and can help another person positively shift their mindset, then we will experience a total ripple effect that can change lives and, in turn, help change the world.”
Ashley’s book motto is just that, “Mindshift Achievers can change the world.” In the book, 19 co-authors share their stories of shifting their mindsets in their personal and/or professional lives. They tell their stories with compassion and a desire to connect with readers who may be able to relate to their experiences.
Ashley said when she put out her author call for the book, she had a great response. This is when she selected the featured authors, including herself, to be a part of the project she touts as significant to her ministry in many ways.
“God has His hand all over ‘Mindshift Achievers,’” said Ashley. “Faith and inspiration are all in the ‘Mindshift Achievers’ book. Stories from all walks of life are included in hopes to help others understand that they are not alone and that they can also shift their minds from negative to positive to achieve success.”

One of Ashley’s authors plays a special role in her life. Her teenage daughter, Alexia Homer, from Kiln, Miss., who at just 17 years old, becomes a published author as the foreword author to “Mindshift Achievers.” Alexia tells her version of her mother’s vision for “Mindshift Achievers” and the journey she hopes readers will take with her and the other authors. Alexia goes on to write about Ashley’s unwavering faith “to live in this world, not of it.” It’s a beautiful sentiment that is sure to prompt readers to turn the page.
Ashley’s aunt, Kimberly Woodcock-Ladner of Moss Point, Miss., also contributed to the project with her chapter, titled, “Rise and Rejoice.”
“I am thankful for the ‘Mindshift Achievers’ anthology project with my niece; all that Father is designing and authoring in her life,” Kimberly said. “Anytime I can be a steward of God’s harvest and what he has put into motion it is a blessing horizontal and vertical.”
Co-author Amanda Compton-Ortiz of Long Beach was delighted to be a part of the book project that she claims was born at the perfect time.
“I wanted to be a part of this amazing anthology because its entire premise resonates with me both personally and professionally,” said Amanda, whose chapter is titled, “An Awesome Walk.”
“As publisher of a positive online news source here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, I believe focus on positivity is powerful. And I saw this project as the perfect platform for me to be able to share that mindset along with what I’ve learned along the way in combating the affects anxiety and depression can have on your mind, body, and spirit. It’s truly been a blessing for me, and I hope it is for others who face these same obstacles.
“I don’t believe our visionary, Ashley, could have done a better job, strategically, with the release of ‘Mindshift Achievers’ as we continue living today in the adverse age of Covid and now facing other economic hurdles.”

“Mindshift Achievers'” Belinda Ross is one of 19 co-authors who took the title to the top of Amazon’s bestseller list just days after the book’s release on January 1, 2022.

Co-author Belinda Ross, whose chapter is titled, “With My Father’s Eyes I See Vision, Identity, Presence,” said, “I am honored to be a fellow author of Ashley’s book. The first day I met her, she gave me opportunity to be a first-time published writer which elevated me to published author. From that beginning, I pushed forward with confidence and learned more about the craft of writing.
“I can’t thank God enough for her generosity extended to me the first time I met her through a mutual friend at church. Today, I believe her loving support was God sent and so needed between people in our current times.”
Liz Hoop, co-author from Moss Point, Miss., who contributed her chapter, “Mindshift Yourself to Success,” said, “I found doing this project caused me to re-evaluate some things in my life. I now intentionally do more affirmations to help change my mindset.”
Dr. Mary Lewis of Ocean Springs, who co-authored her chapter, titled, “The Debris In Life,” said, “My role in ‘Mindshift Achievers’ was to write about a time and space in my life that had an effect and an affect on my life fostering a mind shift change. Also, how it shifted my mind producing a change in me. Who would have thought that by telling my story I would experience a mind-blowing revelation about myself. It validated some unanswered questions.
“It is my hope and desire that my story will show those who are experiencing life-altering situations to never lose faith, whereby, trusting God’s process. It will produce a mind-shifting achievement.”

Dr. Mary Lewis is among a talented pool of writers who contributed their intimate stories to the “Mindshift Achievers” book anthology.

Sheila Farr of Biloxi, whose chapter is titled, “Mindshift Mentality,” said, “I would have to say that my involvement with ‘Mindshift Achievers’ solidified my intense passion for bringing about awareness of the importance of mental wellness and working hard within our community to provide programs that will assist people in taking good care of themselves and their mental health.”
Long Beach resident Dean Kraner is the book’s only male contributor. He titled his chapter, “From the Darkness…Comes Light.” Kraner said, “I really enjoyed being a part of this book with Ashley. I try to spread my story or help people that I meet on a daily basis. This book helps me share my story.”

Guests and co-authors attending a book signing held August 12, 2022, for “Mindshift Achievers” enjoyed cake courtesy of the event’s host, visionary Ashley Prima.

Aretha Walkes is a first-time author who joined the “Mindshift Achievers” project all the way from Hampton, Va. Her chapter is titled, “I Have a Blessing, Not a Burden.” Walkes said, “I was presented the opportunity to contribute my writing in collaboration with 18 other authors to ignite a spiritual shift in not just our mindsets but the mindsets of many who would read each of our stories. The ‘Mindshift Achievers’ book project was and still is a God opportunity and a blessing to use as a platform to share my story.
“During my time of organizing my thoughts to write my story, I begin to reflect on how this book will not only demonstrate how my mindset was transformed but the life of my teenage son. Additionally, I begin to reflect on where I was and how far God had brought me in my way of thinking. God has altered the way I use to think when I felt I was sinking.
“As a result of me asking for his help not only for me but for my son a healthy mindset was revived. This book project has birthed an ongoing pursuit for remaining a Mindshift Achiever and igniting the mindset of others to become and work at remaining a Mindshift Achiever.”

Melissa Boyd of Long Beach, also a first-time author, penning her chapter, titled, “Overcoming Neurodiversity in a Neurotypical World,” said “I loved working on the project! Writing and being involved with so many other amazing authors was such a blessing. God used Ashley, the other authors, and ‘Mindshift Achievers,’ in general, to teach me that I need to let go and let Him be control of my life. He has such big plans for me, but I have to allow Him to work them out and change my mindset to even be able to see them.”
